The cabinet meeting was held today on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. 30 proposals were placed in the meeting, out of which 26 proposals were approved by the cabinet. Chief Secretary SS Sandhu gave information about the passed proposals in a press conference. The new MSME policy has been approved in the meeting. At the same time, now marriage registration has been made necessary for all religions.

Energy Department: In 2008, the National Hydropower Policy came. Under this, the regional development fund was approved. One percent of the project cost will be used for the development of the same area. The state used to get 12% free electricity, now it will get 13% instead. As long as the project runs, the cost equal to 1% of the additional amount received by the government will be distributed to the affected. At the same time, the government can spend 1% extra on its behalf.
New MSME policy approved. Earlier Uttarakhand was divided into 5 categories. Now divided into 4.
Marriage registration has been made mandatory for all religions. Marriages under the Anand Marriage Act have also been included in this. With which Sikhs will also be able to register.
IT Department: Drone Policy 2023 approved. Drone manufacturing and service will be promoted in the state. Drone makers will get up to 75% subsidy on lease rent. Along with this, the drone school will get subsidy up to one crore. At the same time, there is relief from SGSG in drone services. Its SOP will also be made.
Finance Department: The Financial Handbook has been simplified. Also the power of XEN and SE has been increased.
Entire Mussoorie will be made Tehsil.
Rishikesh Karnprayag Rail Line: A lot of garbage is coming out in many villages which will be useful in land filling. Ghildial village of Tehri will get its benefit.
The Uttarakhand Structure Protection Act was amended.
Elementary Education: For admission to class I, the age of the student should be at least 6 years as on 1st April in the year of admission.
Uttarakhand Road Transport Accident Fund Rules were amended. Also, the names of some posts have been changed.
Irrigation: 85% boring technician posts will be direct recruitment instead of 75%.
Department of AYUSH: The clerical cadre has been merged, now they can be transferred from the district to the directorate.
Two posts were created in Police Telecom Department in 8700 grade pay. There are total 18 posts.
Changes were made in the structure of PPS officers. Two posts have been reduced in this. Now total 15 posts are created.
Animal Husbandry Department: Those doing artificial insemination work will now get Rs 100 per case in the mountain and Rs 80 in the field.
Sports Department: A High Power Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to take a quick decision regarding the National Games next year.
Sugarcane Development: Sugarcane societies will get Rs 5.50 per quintal commission equivalent to that of UP.
In village Bagwala of Rudrapur, 15 hectares of land for the PM housing project will be in the name of the authority instead of the housing department.
Industry: If a person can buy 80% of the land and cannot buy 20%, the government will acquire it and give it.
Skill development: Tata Technology will adopt 13 ITIs in the state on the lines of the Karnataka model. Will run such courses according to the demand of the industry. The government will also invest some money. Along with this, modern ITI will be built in the state.
Land issue to ITBP: Khairi Mansingh’s proposal in Dehradun will again come to the cabinet after examination.
The master plan and design of Chaurasi Kutia will be done with the help of a company making models of Varanasi and Ujjain.
Housing Department: Approval for redevelopment plan of Haridwar and Rishikesh. A master plan is being prepared for both, which will be ready in six months.
Higher Education: Changes have been made in the Chief Minister Higher Education Promotion Scholarship Scheme.
Higher Education Group’s manual has come in which many amendments have been made.
The Uttarakhand Poison Possession and Sale Rules have been approved under the rules of the Central Government on acid incidents.
