During the review meeting for CM Helpline 1905, the CM directed officials to expedite the grievance redressal process and resolve public issues in a timely manner. He stated that the CM Helpline serves as a vital medium of communication between the government and the public, aiming to provide effective solutions to people’s problems. Consequently, officials must regularly monitor received complaints and resolve pending cases on a priority basis. The Chief Minister emphasized that negligence at any level regarding the resolution of public grievances would not be tolerated.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami noted that any individual can register a complaint through the CM Helpline 1905. He personally reviews the helpline’s performance every month and interacts with complainants, a process that leads to the resolution of many grievances. Alongside the helpline review, the condition of roads was also assessed. Road conditions often deteriorate significantly after the monsoon season; therefore, instructions were issued to repair them as quickly as possible. Departments such as the PWD, PMGSY, and Urban Development are preparing estimates and initiating tender processes to ensure the roads are restored promptly.
Furthermore, all District Magistrates have been instructed to conduct public interaction programs and address the public’s concerns. The Drinking Water Department is also a crucial sector; necessary directives have been issued to streamline drinking water schemes. Various scholarship schemes have been launched under the Education Department, and instructions have been issued to ensure that children derive the maximum benefit from them. Directives have also been issued to review the status of the ‘Mukhyamantri Bhavishya Nirman Yojana’ and ensure its effective implementation on the ground.
